Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris, an architectural wonder

I visited the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris last September. I'm not an instant fan of modern architecture (for example, I could never find in me any appreciation for the Centre Pompidou), but I simply fell in love with the Foundation's building. Transparent lightness of the glass "sails", multilevel roof terraces, lovely glimpses of the Eiffel Tower and La Defence skyline, what not to love?

The building was designed by the architect Frank Gehry, who is famous for the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles or the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao. His architectural style reminded me of I. M. Pei, and I couldn't help but find similarities with the Miho Museum that I'm very much fond of, mainly for the use of glass, indoor-planted trees and warm-coloured limestone from France.
